To install Blackberry Messenger,

Setting up or Activating The program you downloaded is what I really

two methods viz: 

1. Sending A Request Pin 

2. Request Through E-mail

REQUESTING USING PIN 

This is where you setup your contact list using your BB pin usually 8 
- digit Code assigned to every Blackberry Device. 

. Locating A Device Pin 
A Select Option From the main menu 

B. Select Status and Scroll down to the PIN 

C. Copy the pin by pressing the Blackberry icon button and select copy. 


. Adding Pin of Contact To The Adress Book 

A. Select Address Book from the main Menu. 

B. Press Blackberry button on device, select new Address. 

C. Input the contact's name Contact details and Pin. 


. Request A Friend 

A. Select Blackberry Messenger from Main menu. 

B. Press the Blackberry button and select " Add Contact " 

C. You will be brought to the Address Book, Select the contact whose 
Pin you added previously. 

D. Now Enter a personal message or just press " OK". 
The contact will be added to the pending group when they accept you, 
you will be automaticall be added to his or her List. 


. Start Chatting 

A. Select Contact Name 
B. Start typing your Message, to send, press your wheel-like button. 
C. Press ESC to exist the Conversation. 
D. After chatting, click trackball and Select " End Conversation" 
to End chatting. 


. Send A file or Picture 

A. In Conversation window, press BB icon button and then send File. 
B. Select the folder where your picture is located and send. 



2. REQUEST USING E-MAIL ADDRESS 

This process entails using your registered E-mail address to set up 
contact list.
