The Slim HTC One S, Features, Specifications

htc one s Review : The Slim HTC One S, Features, Specifications
Slim is in for the ladies. This is the trend. If you review as to the preference of womens’ built from the early day up to the present until, stout women with full hips were perceived as beautiful and sexy, an indication of their capacity to carry a child in the past. If you trace the history of cellphones, you will see a similarity with their transition. From stout and heavy cellphones to smaller cute types, people now prefer slimmer and bigger smartphones. It’s like a tall full-figured woman that rocks the ramp of beauty pageants. This is the equivalent of HTC One S when it comes to smartphones.

The HTC One S Design

Gigantic phones may be rocking up the scene but there are also those who would like their phones sexier. Some cannot just get the hang of working with a bold and huge phone. This is where the HTC One S differs. Instead of opting a large size, HTC seemingly made this phone for those who do not like to use both of their hands when toggling through the screen of their phones. While big phones may offer you better display and resolution, it can be difficult to stash this inside an elegant purse. Sure, a big powerful Smartphone will surely impress the geeks but it may not be practical for some especially those who are not fond of carrying bags. The HTC can be easily stored in your pocket without any problems. It has an anodized aluminum body that makes it solid. Its battery is not replaceable, having been incorporated in its body.

The HTC One S Support

A lady that looks good on the outside is not just expected to be beautiful on the outside. This beauty should also be backed with brains and personality. The HTC One S is a beauty that is powered by Qualcomm’s MSM8260A Snapdragon and supported by Adreno 225 graphic chip. No, it is not as fast as the Samsung Galaxy S3 but it can definitely keep up with tasks such as making phone calls through RingCentral VoIP, video playback, surfing through the Internet, and running applications. It is not as fast as its kin either, the HTC One X, but hey, it also means business. The HTC One S has 16GB storage and 1GB RAM which may not be adequate for those who like to record in HD or use their phones as a substitute for an MP3 player. It has Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) as its operating system, further enhance with Sense 4.0, which gives you the choice to choose from different scenes according to your needs- business, gaming or social media.

Display and Camera

The HTC One S features Pentile matrix for display. It has a resolution of 540×960 and pixel density of 256 ppi. This is no longer the best in the market since Samsung released its 4.3 Super AMOLED screen. Although icons can be deciphered without any trouble, detailed pictures and curved shapes are not impressive. As a consolation, it is able to offer vibrant colors. This Smartphone has an 8-megapixel camera where you can take videos and pictures at the same time.
The HTC One S is geared towards a market that is looking for a slimmer, but functional Smartphone. It is at par with other powerful smartphones but still needs a little bit of tweaking before it can be considered a rival of the big popular smartphones of today.
